Connect & Verify Your Domain

Follow this article to make sure you comply with all new IOS14 Updates.

We are currently working on Facebook to verify our main page - prequalifyme.today to provide a solution for every Arlo user to connect to our verified domains...however in the meantime if you are somewhat technical or have a technical resource than it makes sense to bypass the wait time and connect and verify your own domain. Below will show you how.

1. Connect your Domain to Arlo.

You can set up Arlo landing pages on your own domain for example: www.mortgagepro.com or a subdomain of your main site for example: info.mortgagepro.com.

Setting up your own domain is not necessary. This is an advanced setup and often requires an IT admin.

Before you set this up you will need to install an SSL (You can get them for free at https://letsencrypt.org/)

We recommend using Cloudflare to manage your DNS, Cloudflare is free, easy, fast and manages SSL for you.

  1. You will set up a new CNAME record.
  2. The name will be @ if you want to include the entire domain - or you can use any subdomain you want.
  3. The target will be prequalifyme.today
  4. Save & go to https://app.arlo.ai/page/settings place your domain name and hit save.

2. Verify your domain with Facebook

Domain verification is very important and has been leading to some accounts being temporarily banned. This is 100% needed over the next couple of months. The faster you do it, the faster you will not have to worry about a costly account shutdown.

3. Set up Up Facebook Events

Facebook's new Aggregated Event Measurement is a protocol that allows for measurement of web events from iOS 14 users. Aggregated Event Measurement limits domains to 8 conversion events that can be used for conversion optimization. Those 8 conversion events can come from one Facebook pixel or multiple pixels.

You will need to assign the events as follows:
